On May 8, 2023, We as Komal bloc submitted the resignation letters to the Presidency of Kurdistan Parliament.
Earlier, on November 6, 2022, Komal bloc withdrew from the Kurdistan Parliament and boycotted all parliamentary activities to protest against the illegal extension of the term of parliament and the postponement of parlimentary elections.
As long as the parliament was acting within the framework of its legal term, We as Komal bloc did everything we could such as presenting bills, monitoring the performance of the government and tabling interpellation requests the top government officials.
The mere goal of Komal bloc was to be honest with the oath we took and improve the lives of people in Kurdistan without any discrimination.
During our parliamentary work, we worked tirelessly, professionally, legally and objectively without discrimination between people, classes and cities.
Thank you to all those who trusted us and voted for us. our efforts against oppression and corruption is not over and we will continue in any way we can.
